Sponsorship Opportunities

The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine’s 2018 Annual Auction will be held on Friday, May 18th at the events center at Thompson’s Point – the hottest new destination in Portland and the site of our event last year.  Our 2017 Auction was our most successful event to date, welcoming over 480 guests and raising nearly $120,000 in support of our exhibits, operations, programs and admission scholarships.

The Annual Auction is our largest and most important fundraising event of the year and it would not be possible without the support of generous corporate sponsors. Sponsorships help defray production costs and build awareness of the Museum & Theatre in the Portland business community.

The funds we raise on Auction night support the highest quality educational and cultural programs, offered to children and families year-round at the Museum. At last year’s event we were thrilled to raise over $16,000 supporting our scholarship membership program which provides free memberships to local families in need.

Sponsorship Deadlines & Requirements

  • For inclusion in Auction Save the Date Card Mailing (2,000 distributed): Logo must be received and agreement signed no later than February 9th
  • For inclusion in Auction Invitation Mailing (1,500 distributed): Logo must be received and agreement signed no later than March 9th
  • For inclusion in all other event materials, including Auction Catalog: Sponsor must be committed and all materials received by March 31st

 

Logo requirements:

For printed materials: high resolution file, at least 300 dpi (eps or Vector logo preferred)

For electronic use: jpeg or png file

Full color and grayscale versions needed

 

Catalog advertisement specs:

  • Full Page (7 7/8”W  x 10 3/8” H)
  • 1/2 Page (7 7/8” W x  4 7/8” H)
  • 1/4 Page (3 5/8” W x 4 7/8” H)

High-resolution, printer ready file, pdf or eps format preferred

Ads will be printed in black & white (with exception of presenting sponsor ad)

Ad must be received by March 31st for inclusion in the Auction catalog
